Install OK with UK Language?

I purchased and downloaded CP8 today. It installed ok on my Ipaq but will only give me options for east european langauges, I just can't seem to get it to work in English. It shows englaish voices are installed but I just get two pages of language options, non English!

Anyone know how to get around this?

Menu, settings, Language & Voice. Shows 5 pages of language options on mine.

I assume that you have the 'U K Ireland' Data region?

Yes, I just bought the UK&I maps, they seem to be loaded ok, I just get 3 pages each with 4 options, things like Norsk, Svenska, Nederlands, Polski...

I could cope if it did French or German!

Maybe you had a corrupted download, much of it seems to be taken up with voices when you unzip it.

When I loaded mine I accidentaly seleected Italy as my region rather than UK/Ireland. Just removing the program and reloading doesn't bring up the region option. The mistake was down to not realising you can drag the menus rather than trying to scroll, as a result I had a map with no roads.

I got this from ALK if you need to completly wipe and restart.
With regards to your query try to remove CoPilot by going to START | SETTINGS | SYSTEM | REMOVE PROGRAMS Delete the License file called L.ICP8.DAT (in Device/Windows) and the PK.TXT file in \StorageCard\CoPilot\Save then re-install CoPilot and activate it.

On relaoding after deleting the files it gave the region option (had to re-activate first)

Thanks for the advice, this did not fix it but I downloaded the software again and re-installed, it all seems ok now. I must have had a corrupted download or unzip.
