Greetings,

If you look in the POI files on this site under Special Interest, there is a Freeview TV Transmitter section.
Has about 80 items in there at the moment.

I thought I saw another file somewhere as well, but it escapes me at the moment.

In the same section there is an Analogue TV Subcategory, with 1084 entries.

I've always presumed so, and accept them.

It was always there .... hiding under the Freeview Icon! Wink

I assume that, in due course, we shall be able to dispense with the Analogue set. Smile

It definitely was not always there. Shocked "On 19 March 1969, a combination of strong winds and the weight of ice that had formed around the top of the mast and on the guys brought the structure down."
So there Very Happy

I created these 2 poi files from information from the internet, if Elmley Moor transmits analogue signals it would be in the analogue poi's

Oldboy
I have found one error in the freeview file
Sandy Heath coordinates should be W not E

see above - the digital transmitter icon was covering up the analogue icon!

I copied & pasted the following info into a .TXT file and put it on my Go520 as a document. I now have it handy when on site.

I can find the transmitters and approx direction with the POI files, tune the tv to B1 channel, set the aerial to H or V then point it in the right direction.

Bingo
