Does sat nav take into account day ant time?

i have the HP 314 sat nav, and just out of curiosity i was wondering - does is take into account the day of the week and time? (i dont have the traffic info receiver thing). ie. avoids certain roads in rush hour?

No it won't take in to account road traffic related to day/ time only the TomTom range with IQ Routes feature which uses data embeded within the map can do this AFAIK - the isn't any PDA based software that can do this (as yet) - Mike
