WINXP Back up of my TT720 won't work today

Though I've done successfully before I find today that XP won't allow me to paste my TT hard drive into a new PC folder; says it can't copy from Kate file.
Any advice valued.

I wouldn't worry about that too much as the kate voice can be downloaded using Home with the device connected or you can grab it yourself using this link British Kate Voice - Mike

Thanks, but clicking OK at this point stops the copying at 30%.

Just tried again, and seems to be going OK this time.

You only really need the map folders backed up as eveything else can be added from downloads, it just takes a while providing all the links! - Mike

In this sort of situation, you can always try copying "around it".
In other words copy everything EXCEPT the folder that the rogue file is in (in this case it's probably \LoquendoTTS\data\voices\Kate).

Then you can try copying all the files inside that folder apart from the one duff file and put them in a new folder you make yourself with the same name as the original folder.

That way you get a backup of everything you can.
