RAC GPS - ROUTE 66 - EUROPE

I have got an RAC GPS system which runs route 66 software, I'm travelling to Spain tomorrow and need to know if it has Spain maps uploaded already or if I need to do something before I go. Under options it has 'world maps' but then won't recognise any spanish road names?
Please help.....

Is there a browse map option on the device? if so zoom out and pan down the map to see if Spain has the road detail you need - If it was a European device when new it will have the coverage you need, if it was regional it might be UK specific - Mike
