Garmin Nuvi on MAC

Hi

I cannot open speed camera or POI files on my MAC. I have stuffit expander but still cannot unzip the files into a format that is recognised by Garmin POI downloader.

Can't find any solution on this website

Any help appreciated

what error message(s) are you getting from stuffit or poiloader?

This is the message I get. any file is what I have put in as it changes depending on the file I'm trying to open

unable to archive " any file.zip" into "downloads"
(Error 1 - Operation not permitted.)

what happens if you right-click (command-click) and choose 'open with... stuffit expander'?

it brings up the 'open with' box but stuffit is not listed in there although I can access stuffit by going into applications in 'finder'

ok, how about dragging and dropping the zip file onto stuffit expander?

it IS stuffit expander you have, isn't it?

Thanks that seems to have worked. For some reason stuffit had 'disappeared' from my mac but the original download file was still there. Re-opened it and now been able to open the POI files etc. Can't check it will load onto my GPS as I've lent it out today.

Thanks for your help MaFt. Will let you know if it worked once I get my GPS back.
