I would not use the TT data even if was free. It's just so incomplete.
But each to their own |

I'll take a dozen off each? Will you take a cheque made out for more than the amount and you can post me the change with the devices |

Why did you previously offer a discount for a limited period then?
Was it just to let your buddies get a discount?
At that time TT were also offering a discount. |

As we stated at the time, it was a special to coincide with the announced VAT reduction. Nothing whatsoever to do with TomTom full stop.
You could have taken advantage of the discount offer even though you had a current sub as it would have added to the end of the sub. We made that clear at the time so if you chose not to take it up you have only yourself to blame. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ye Gods! Are we seriously discussing 10p a week here? It'd take three weeks of that to get me into my local car park for a minimum stay! Which I have to do to collect my OAPension now they've shut my local PO. _________________ Dennis

if we wanted our 'buddies' to have the database cheap we could just manually give them subscriptions and get the money off them at the local pub...
as darren says, it was decided very shortly after the vat reduction announcement that we would offer the discount for a limited time.
has the same accusation been made to tomtom? maybe they have lowered the price so the newer teleatlas/tomtom staff can get it cheaper? or maybe the staff at renault for making the deal with the carminat?

The blindingly outrageous truth of the matter is that PGPSW have hiked the price again so that they can rake in the shekels to be able to get MaFt a new keyboard AND send him on a course to learn how to use the Shift key.
You'd think they'd have employed somebody who already knew - or did somebody else fill in his application and get all the shift keystrokes right for him? Is he REALLY a nice young family man, or is he actually a grumpy 69 year old hiding behind the anonymity of the internet? Has anybody actually met him in the flesh? Does he use a Doppelganger? There's something underhand going on here. Lock up your girls. Power to the pheasants!
I won't let this rest until I've won a competition prize of a TomTom GO that works. _________________ Dennis

After using Tomtom Traffic and Tomtom speed - camera database since I bought my Tomtom from new my opinion is they are not worth bothering with, the camera databaseit is so out of date it is un-trustworthy and Traffic is absolute rubbish because it is so querky.
I did not re-new them when they ran out.
Because of the hassle I had with them I had the subscriptions extended free by Tomtom by six months .
Even so I will not be buying anything from Tomtom again
