Problem connecting RDS TMC Traffic Receiver

I bought the RDS TMC Traffic Receiver from Currys as recommended elsewhere (£4.97, apparently the last one in the shop), but have fallen at the first fence trying to connect it.

It will only plug into the Brodit TomTom mount if the TomTom is angled right up on its swivel, making it impossible to see the screen.

If such a thing exists, it needs a tiny angled connector. Does such a thing exist?

PS It doesn't mention the GO 40 series on the box and I can't find a specific reference in the long topic about the Receiver. I suppose it does work on my TomTom?

I don't know of any connectors that can be bought to fit that socket as its a strange six pole plug.

It will fit the x40 as long as you are using one of the accessory docks with the device - Mike
