TomTom 3 - POI Icons - How do you edit them?

On TomTom 3 there are a large range of POI's; petrol stations, hotels, open car parks, etc etc. I don't want them and indeed would like to edit and use some of the icons for other POI's I have in mind.

Can I edit these?
Where do I find them - I've hunted high a low usinf file finder and can't locate them?

Unfortunately there's no way of getting at the icons for the built in POIs except possibly by capturing them from a screen grab of the Pocket PC. They're not in separate .bmp files.
