Hi,

i was wondering if it is possible to use an external battery (ie: http://us.kensington.com/html/13883.html ) and connect it via USB, so i can use the satmap but it gets recharged at the same time?
would the use of an external power source change the brightness of the screen ?

Thank you
Bosie

The one you linked to is only 1800mAh. Bigger ones are available.

I see no reason why it would not work, but you would have a lead to manage.

If you want to try at little cost look here: http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=101248&r=20090522

Have a read through This Thread as it lists a number of different options you might want to consider, the screen will remain at the same brightness when using internal or external power, there is no adjustment available to cover both power states - Mike
