Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

I have the full TomTom 3 Bluetooth System with an iPAQ 2210. I have installed the 3.02 patch available on the Tomtom website which is quoted to improve the Bluetooth connectivity for the 2210

However whilst out and about Tomtom 3 seems to lose it's position for a couple of seconds, then reconnects and I am up and running again. This seems to happen at irregular intervals and I am assuming I am having Bluetooth connectivity problems with the TomTom receiver.

This didn't happen with the original TT3 software, but the update puts a couple of other features onto TT3 as well as this supposed Bluetooth connectivity improvement driver.

Does anyone else experience this, I always find that sods law it happens when it pulls you off the motorway in an unfamiliar part of the country with a left or right hand turn decision to make.

Any thoughts or advice will be greatly received

Cheers

Damian

See this thread and this other thread where this is already being discussed.

Can I make a general comment, not aimed at you in particular. Whilst thread titles aren't always the most helpful, most aren't bad and it does pay to read a few recent threads in the relevant forum first. Both the threads linked above have had posts in the past day or so about this problem. With the recent release of Navigator 3 upgrades, we have got several Navigator 3 issues being discussed in multiple threads - I think the address lookup and database problems now stretch to about five threads, and I think there's more than this thread and the two I've linked above iPAQ 2210 / Bluetooth GPS / Navigator 3 problems.

Multiple threads on the same issue helps nobody - even people who tend to read the entire forum like me lose track of what's where. Please check through recent posts before starting a new thread.
