Hi,
Anyone seen this behaviour?
Since from about the time I
a) installed 3.04T
b) had my receiver replaced
I have seen odd behaviour from TTN3.
It all works fine from a "cold" start, i.e. nothing running, start TTN3, get GPS status icon (brown satellite dish), get blue light on TT BT GPS receiver, TTN starts, can navigate.
When I'm done, I exit TTN3, which quits, but leaves the GPS status utility running, showing a outlined white satellite dish icon in the system tray.
Then, when I restart TTN3 I get no GPS connection (flashing blue on the receiver). The only way I have found so far of getting it back, short of a soft reset, is to go into GPS status, deselect the GPS receiver and reselect it (TomTom Wireless GPS). Then I get GPS connecivity, blue light on the receiver and away I go again. What a pain.
Any one else seen this? Got a fix? Please share!
(On the plus side, I do have traffic working for me with my 6310i on T-Mobile. Yay.)

I also have TT3 & traffic 304T installed on my HP5550, The same thing happens to me when I quit navigator, the gps icon remains in the system tray although I have a wired leadtek receiver and I do not have any problems reconnecting to it.

I am using a HP iPAQ 2210, which does seem to be bearing the brunt of problems around here!
I may have found a solution of sorts.
I tried renaming the NavigatorGlobalSettings file in My Documents/Navigator to see if there might be something stored incorrrectly or had gotten corrupt. When I started GPS status on its own it didn't know which device to connect to, but selecting Wireless GPS got a connection OK. And then when I quit it, it went away as it should.
Starting TTN3 was like it was new-born, needed to set miles v. kilometers, safety speed, home location, reactivate traffic account and so on. But when I quit it, GPS quit as well. I hope this is now going to stay that way.
So, for all you guys and gals having problems, before you re-install - just try deleting the GlobalSettings file, it might just help.
