Hi guys,
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the map I had installed on my Tomtom Go 520? I have been very silly and ended up deleting all my contents and so I have the application back on now but no map!
Can anyone help? _________________ iPAQ rz1710

Do you havea backup of the device from either when it was new or prior to the map being wiped out? Also have you ever updated the map using TomTom Home from your current PC? - if so it should be possible to recover the situation - Mike |

I dont i'm afraid. I assumed there was a copy on the CD that came with it but then I was told by a colleague that it doesnt come with one.
Any ideas? _________________ iPAQ rz1710

The only legal way is to buy a new map from the TomTom website.
You could try contacting TomTom and throwing yourself on their mercy, but I think they would only say ythe same thing, or expect you to send the whole thing to them for a (paid-for) repair, which would be much more hassle.
This is why backups are vital. Please make one when you are back up and running. Instructions are #1 in the FAQs in this forum. |
