Backed up my Nuvi 765t before doing a reset (to try and rectify a slow map redraw issue, as recommended on these forums)

Reinstalled my POIs no problem, but copying the current.gpx file doesn't seem to do the same job with my favourites

Nothing at all is there

In the sub-directory (versions 1 to 5 exist) the are files of varing size, and while I can copy them to the Nuvi, when I reset it they reset in size to 7kb - with no favourites in them!

Can anyone help?

It maybe something to do with I had them in categories???

Try calling the file something else - such as TEMP.GPX and it should read it.

Current.gpx has always been defined as an output file, but many units would read it as well. The team that implemented the 7xx series seem to have done things differently...

Worked a treat - thanks! Saved a lot of re-entry for me has had quite a number of family, friends, customers and suppliers all in their own folders with contact info too

And its all back now!
