Downloading walks

I have just bought the Satmap Active 10 and when I download walks i have no problem using Satsync but the walks when downloaded are shorter in mileage than on the site I am downloading them from. Am I doing something wrong or maybe not set Satmap up correctly?

I assume you are downloading from Satmap Route Share. The lengths shown on this site have always seemed a bit odd. I have no idea how the lengths shown on the site are calculated. The main thing appears to be if the route you have downloaded appears to match the one no on your A10.

Thanks for the info. The walks I am downloading are from Walkingworld. I have also e mailed them about it but I aren't sure whether it is me who has not set the satmap up properly or not. The routes seem the same as on the screen but it just seems strange
