|

Lo, GPS noob here.
Just been bought a Navman F25, which was nice, but I dont' know anything about GPS units at all.
It connects to the PC and holds data in folders, that much I can work out.
Can the maps it uses be created or changed?. The only thread I can find on the net about F25 software is here and someone seems to suggest that the F25 cannot be changed.
Is this the case?.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks for that. I had seen the adverts, but they don't say anything about adding maps, just safety camera alerts (with which i don't agree, but that's another fistfight altogether) with the desktop programme
I was wondering if it was possible to add maps, Europe or America or somehwere other than the UK and Eire, which is what it has.
As for creating and changing maps, I was wondering if there was a software programme for doing just that.
We use MapInfo at work for mapping data and that can run SQL queries, so I wondered if it was the same process for GPS, just scaled down.
It would seem not. Not to worry. Thanks

To add other map regions the unlock keys should work, as the desktop software is essentially the same as the S-series software.
The navman website www.navmanstores.com/uk/ lists them all |
