Hi,
Not been around here for a while as my tt has behaved just as I want it, nor felt inclined to connect up my tt to tomtom home either.
I have software version 7.163 currently, and am now being offered 7.903, is that version ok?, bearing in mind that I still use v6.52.1185 western european navteq maps.
will 7.903 bring any enhancements or just bugfix's?
Incase I havent descrbed my tt correctly, it is a new edition 'one' , the sort that had the maps supplied on an SD card-not inbuilt, new circa Dec 2006

With the maps you have, there is very little benefit in installing the latest version. If you download version 7.903 you could run the latest maps (version 8.25) with added functionality - eg ability to use your own map corrections and those provided by others. Updated maps will cost you about £39. As you can no longer get NavTeq maps, you may prefer to keep what you already have!

Thats why I haven't upgraded
Thanks for the advice, I dont intend to get new maps for this device, I'll probaby spash out on a new tomtom later on this year if something takes my fancy.
