I have hust bought a tomtom one V1 from ebay it came without an sd card. wh
Any help welcomeen I power it up the screen shows insert card. I do not have a back up of its system file, IS there any way I can get them?
Also when I conect up to TThome it does not recognise the devise |

Welcome to the forum, without an SD card the device is useless - you could purchase a card 2GB (Max), purchase a map from TomTom's map shop (NOT E-Bay) and with some messing around downloading various files from locations we know of you could have the device back up and running.
I would contact the seller and demand my money back to be honest, selling that unit without the memory card the seller knew it wouldn't work before creating the advert.
I am wondering if a batch of devices has been released on E-bay recently as this is the second such post in two days, do you have a link to the sale on E-Bay, if you don't want to post it here you can use my e-mail button below this post - Mike |
