Alamo’s Florida ‘Drive-Out’ Program Offers One-Way Discounts, Unlimited Mileage, Free GPS Unit

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alamo Rent A Car announced today its Florida “Drive-Out” program, which enables customers to take advantage of low one-way rates with no drop charges and unlimited mileage, plus a Global Positioning System (GPS)-based navigation device at no additional charge.

Under the program, Alamo customers traveling from select cities in Florida can rent cars for as little as $10 per day for economy through mid-size cars, $12 per day for full-size cars, or $15 per day for minivans and standard SUVs – as long as the vehicles are dropped off at participating locations in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama.

In addition, special one-way rates as low as $20 per day are available for vehicles returned to participating locations in many other states, including: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.

Effective between April 1 and July 18, the “Drive-Out” program requires a 24-hour advance reservation and allows a maximum 21-day rental. Also, customers who select a GPS unit to use during their rental must do so at the time of reservation and must use the “FLDAGPS” code.
