|
|
Using GO 530 with App 8.302 & UK Map v825.2157 on internal memory plus N.America map v815.2019 & W&C Europe v815.2003 on an 8GB SDHC card.
When I start HOME (2.6 BETA) & pick 'Internal Memory' it says "Newer versions available" of the N.A. & W & C Euro maps. If I select them for d/load, it says "You need to remove 3107.6MB" - obviously not enough internal memory available. If I then change device to Memory Card & 'Update my device', all that is shown are new voices - no mention of the maps already on the card !
The lady @ TT Support suggests it's because the device knows I should have the maps, but because it can't find them in internal memory, it offers to load them, but when I show it where they are , it finds they are up to date ! Is this a reasonable answer
Can anyone advise if they are the latest maps - and if not, how can I get the maps on the SDHC card to update ? ! Thanks.

I believe for Home to "see" the map on the memory card the map needs to be selected on the device via Change preferences / Manage maps / Switch map. _________________ Anita
