What would you choose if you didn't have a TT?

Hi,

I've got a TT720 and am getting rather fed up with the problems and customer service from TT.

If you were getting a new nav now what would you get assuming the following conditions:

1 UK mapping only is fine - I can always use my current TT for when I go to Europe
2 Travel info, either reciever or GPRS is a necessity. I do circa 40,000 miles p.a. and whilst I don;t fully trust the traffic readings, it all helps.
3 Can give speed camera warnings
4 I have a HP 614c so potentially I could use that as a device if I can find GOOD software and mapping.

For me I'd try to find another 720. If I couldn't, I'd go for a 730. But given your annual mileage, and that you only need UK maps, it sounds as though a 540 Live would be best for you. In spite of the problems reported in the fora, there's no way I'd buy anything but a TomTom.

Don't forget that people with trouble-free devices rarely post so you get a distorted picture when you read the fora.
