External aerial for Tom Tom bluetooth unit

I have a Tom Tom 3 bluetooth unit for Palm and reception in my car is not good. Can anyone tell me the best external aerial to purchase for this unit?

I had similar problems with my Peugeot 206. Bought a re-radiating antenna which is brilliant. Prices vary but the cheapest seems to be at http://www.handnav.co.uk/search_results.php for just under 40 quid.
