At the moment, I'm watching the HD traffic info in one web browser tab, and the same area in the Beta route planner. The latter has an alert for "From: J36 BARROW To: J35 CARNFORTH stationary traffic for 7.4 mi" but this is not in the live tab. Looking at Manchester, both appear the same, and have been changing, but that item is apparently stuck, but only in the planner. Unfortunately my TT740 is driving about at the moment without me, so I can't see what it would show. |

The M6 J35 Carnforth - J36 Barrow is showing on the x40 device as stationary traffic but with no delay information or length associated with it - Mike |

Okay, so the device is matching the planner, not the traffic page. Unfortunately we have no cameras to check the actual road with. |

That should depend on whether your 740 is in that area.
It is actually showing on my 940 and I am inside the M25 so it is quite unusual and I would suggest it is an error as it is not showing on any other traffic system.
One must be really bored to be comparing traffic web sites. _________________ Drivelux |

Trouble is, *someone* has to do it, in order to prove whether or not there are some major underlying problems with the HD service. |

Indeed, I just do it to check before I do a journey. I'll be going to Manchester tomorrow. Plus I'm interested in how things are around here. Very little time to do it, as it just sits there.
The delay is now showing 8 miles, so it is obviously getting larger. I think it was 5 miles when I first noticed it.
But I think that these are minor issues in HD traffic, not major. In general you can watch the delays grow and subside in what must be natural flows. |
