I am interested in getting a new GPS unit. I have narrowed the search down to the above.

Other than the maps increasing in area UK to Europe to Europe & USA, is there any other differences.

I just need to have the UK. I would also like Traffic updates, but as I do not do a lot of driving can not see value of x40 Live for myself.

Is there any where where there is a comparison list of the features?

Feature that I need are:
* Most upto date maps
* RDS-TMC
* UK maps
* Lane advise
* Pocket GPS Speed camera compatible (needs to say "Gatso 40 mph" or equivalent)
* Ability to set individual sound files for POI categories (eg "There is a Tesco ahead")
* Automatic update route from RDS-TMC data

Are the maps on the x30 range the same as on the x40 range?

Thank you for reading and for recommendations.

If all you need is UK based maps then the 530 will do very well, or consider the 530T which is the same device but you get the RDS-TMC receiver in the same box. Bear in mind you can purchase the RDS receiver via Amazon for around 20 quid so unless the 530T price is only a little more than the 530 then purchasing the parts from two outlets might be a cheaper option.

All the x30 devices offer the functionality you list as wanted, the main differences are the amount of installed flash memory to cope with the larger map files

530 UK & ROI
730 Western Europe
930 Western & Central Europe plus North America

In addition the 930 is supplied with a remote control and is fitted with gyro system for positional updates while under ground in tunnels etc - Mike
