|
|
I have managed to delete my Cyclops Fixed Camera file from my Garmin Nuvi 205W , I did it trying to solve a problem when I was loading GSAK caching files, the Cyclops file looked like it had been overwritten by the GSAK logo so I stupidly deleted it before I backed up my Garmin, If I contact Garmin would they email me a copy of the file to put back in the POI folder.
It's no excuse but being a newbie to the Garmin - I've always had a Tom Tom before, the instructions don't advise on how to back up the Garmin - I only found that out later on the forum!! Looks like I've learned an expensive lesson.
Any advice please
Thanks |

Try running an update from MyGarmin. That's how you normally update the cameras it may replace the missing file.... |

Thanks Paul, Ive tried that a couple of times, it hasn't replaced the missing file but has registered as having updated the Speed Camera Database - what's left of it
I've tried phoning Garmin this afternoon on 0808 2380000 but can't get through. I was hoping they may send me the missing file |
