Strange routing with iPAQ and Navman 3400 v1.91

I have been having a few issues with my iPAQ and Navman 3400lately. Whenever I use the GPS it has taken to taking me down some very strange routes. It will always take me down the side streets and will not keep me on the main streets at all. Is there a setting or something that I have upset as I do not recall this happening before?

Does anyone else also suffer this problem? Given the problem with London side streets and sleeping policemen etc this really slows you down...

In Navman SmartSt then go to Setup> Routing. See which circle has the checkmark in it. The choices are quickest (usually keeps to major roads) or shortest (usually the most direct route).
