There is no way that I am aware of to enter OS map references into a tomtom.

Various web based or PC based converters are available, see example here, that can convert OS map references to Lattitude & Longitude. This can then be entered into your tomtom.

Entering your example of SU870899 into the above converter and selecting Landranger Grid gives Lattitude: N51:36:04 ( 51.601232 )
Longitude W0:44:43 ( -0.745253 ) .

Check that whatever software you use also converts the datum. Otherwise you can be between 50 and 150 metres out depending on your location in UK.

Sorry - meant to say my nuvi 660 allows OSGB references to be entered - not that it helps you Razz

There is a programme called ITN Converter......See Here http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&langpair=fr|en&u=http://benichougps.blogspot.com/

You can enter in your OS Lat and Long and export it into a TomTomFile then add that into a New Favourites folder...
