Really stuck here! Tomtom One v3 (uk and europe)

Hi all,
I would love it if anyone can assist me in finding how to open the case of my tomtom one (out of warranty) I require to replace the battery but cannot for the life of me find out how to open the case, i have already tried removing the 4 small torx screws which made no apparent difference at all, looked under the labels on the base and can see no seam, so at present i am stuck unless you guys out there can help!

p.s its the one without a removable sd card.

Just checking we'retalking about the same model, as TomTom have different numbering systems between Techies and Marketing, so is it a ONE 3rd Edition?

If so, once you've removed the four Torx screws, get your thumbnail between the silver top and the dark grey back and prise the top open by about 1/4". Then lift and ease the front out.

There are two leads holding the two pieces together (one for the battery and the other for the speaker) but these are long enough not to break and once the unit is open they are on connectrs anyway.

The battery in mine says it's a MAXELL ICP653443, 1100mAh.

I have just went through the same problem and TomTOm told me the same thing. I have gotten mine open no problem, bu tI was wondering where you found a replacement battery. Mine is also the Maxell icp653443 1100mah.
