Tom Tom 520 Keyboard small after Upgrade

Dear Forum Members

I recently upgraded to the dreaded 8.3 app and noticed one strange occurrence, apart from the TTS voices having terrets......... when I get a text message and try to reply the keyboard is set to small, I have tried changing this but to no avail, even with the keyboard set to large either QWERT,ZERTY or ABCDE in text reply it ia still small But large when trying ti find addresses etc..... anyone else come across this? I have spoken to TomTom and they say they have never heard of this, but with the great knowledge availiable on this site I am sure someone will have a solution.

I've found the keyboard size is now all over the place.... sometimes normal, sometimes small and I think I once saw it larger than normal!

My guess is that someone complained that there wasn't enough room in the box to type a long message and he was the one lucky person picked to get his comment acted upon, which they then did in the simplest way achievable!

The same thing happens on the page to describe a map error.

I would ignore the fact that TT say they've never heard of it. That is a standard line of defence from the call centre drones.
I've complained to TT about it too.
