TTS on TomTom XL Model ?

I have been looking at the Nvigon range as it was a new name for me and apart from a couple of thing...no personal POIs can be loaded...the reviews and reports are all very positive. One goof thing about the range is that you can buy options available on higher models than the one you have.

TTS being one of them, for £15. Which is a good deal in my book. Now, given the problems everyone seems to have anytime TT issue an upgrade I was idly wondering why "we" can't have TTS on any TomTom we wanted ? Provided TomTom could be persuaded to offer it. I would have thought any numebr of XL and One owners would go for that at £15 ?

After all, it is on the XL in the USA anyway....
