TT720 talk to a Parrot

Hi All

Have just got a Parrot fitted in my van.

Can i get my TT720 to link up to my Parrot so that i can get the tt voice out of my radio?

What Bluetooth profiles does the Parrot support, it needs to offer an A2DP profile for it to work, see if thats mentioned in the manual or on the box - Mike

there is a thread here where user jimbo_hippo had some success with his TT and Parrot

I have a 520 and Mk6100 and have had limited success getting the two to operate consistantly and in a reliable manner.

I have given up trying just now.

Yes the parrot dose have the A2DP profile

In that case make sure the Parrot is ready to receive a Bluetooth connection, on the TomTom make sure Bluetooth is enabled from within the Change Preferences options, then go to Change Preferences/ Speaker Preferences and set the unit to play nav instructions via its own speaker and music via Bluetooth, this gives you the option not to pause the music when nav instructions are issued. Note it will probably only start the BT connection to the Parrot when you select an mp3 track to play.
Go through the pairing process, if the Go doesn't find the Parrot there is a Bluetooth fix that can be applied to the 720 that will make it see far more Bluetooth devices, but for a start I would try and get it working without the BT Fix - Mike

TT can see the parrot And the parrot can see the TT but will not pair.
