Hello all, I am looking for some advice on a problem i have discovered whilst attempting to load the latest safety camera warning data base and assosiated .ogg files to give audible warnings. I seem to have 2 x folders for the western and central europe map on my TomTom. The first is named Western and Central Europe and the second is named Western_and _Central_Europe both folders are the same size. Do i need these two folders ? and can one be deleted and if so which one ?, I don't know which folder is currently being used so don't know which folder to extract the files into. If I go into switch maps I have two maps named Western and Central Europe (no underscore). I did download an updated map approx a year ago so possibly my TomTom kept both maps and just renamed one of them. I don't seem to be able to get the downloaded .ogg files associated with the camera locations.

If the above makes any sense to any one out there and you have any sensible advice i would welcome any assistance.

Many Thanks,

First of all copy the entire contents of the 910 to your PC using Windows Explorer, this will act as a backup incase you delete the wrong map folder later on.

Using Windows Explorer open the first map folder and locate the file with an extension .pna by right clicking it and choosing open with/ notepad, this will offer up the version number of the map within the folder.

Repeat this for the other folder and see which map has the latest map release (highest number).

Once you know which is the latest map delete the offending folder then copy/ paste the POI files and ogg files to the remaining map folder and configure the warnings - Mike

Thank's Mike,

I'm flying again (but not near any speed cameras) it turns out the central and eastern europe map folder without the underscore was the older map and was deleted. Everything else went smoothly.

Many Thanks for your assistance.
