TOMTOM restore problems

When I try to restore my 720 I keep getting and error message stating that diiferent files cannot be written to the device.

Is there anyway to copy the file directly to the device and get the maps to work?

How did you make the backup, using TTHome or Explorer? How are you trying to restore, the same method as the backup or the other method?

Have you tried to use Explorer to copy the folders and files from your backup to the unit? (make sure hidden files/folders are showing as are extensions for known file types).

I will try it when I return from my holiday in the USA.
