Reality view and safety speed useable at the same time?

Hi,

Just finished setting up my new 720 and as always I set up a safety speed to switch off the 3D view. This seems to disable the Reality view function - is it possible to enable the two simultaneously or is it a choice of one or the other?

The safety screen doesn't use the 2D view it just switches to a static view of the next instruction - much less distracting for long journeys, especially at night.

You do get ALG with the safety screen (it uses a slightly enhanced picture in the status bar). Think I just have to remeber to switch between modes depending upon whether it's day or night.
