new to satnav and been looking on the fourms for the same advice i need but cannot find any so here i go got my pda loaded with tomtom 2 and checkpoint but when i got to maps in tomtom i cannot see speed camaras picture but can see all the others ive ticked in poi list i havent recived my gps from global postitioning so do i need to have my gps to see the speed camaras on the map on tomtom or have i got something wrong

Hi johnsonjohnny4,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you downloaded the latest version of the Pocket GPS World camera POI from this site? If you have, and you have fully shutdown and restarted TTNav2 then you should see the POI in the POI list. Check the box and you should be OK.
You don’t need a GPS to be connected as you can either run a demo route or use the map screen.
Any problems then shout. 8)

might have it sorted but 1 more thing when looking on speed camara database the is more camaras than i have showing on my pda is they something ive missed

Hi JJ,
The default maximum number of POIs that can be displayed on the map at any time is 20. You can either change this number or whilst you're checking the Speed Camera DB or you can temporarily deselect all other POIs to display more camera locations.

thank for that sorted know i try setting it to 99 and ill think ill stick to 20 the hole map was covered in petrol stations/ speed camaras just glad to get it sorted

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
