my guide 4200 poi's

Hi just got one of these and i am trying to find a way of putting poi's for specific petol stations on, does anyone know how to do this ?

i know you can manually add poi's but as there are lots of them it would ake too long.

The Myguide 4200 can install the speed camera database from this site (which is a standard POI file) so you should be able to add other POIs just as easily.

The POI collections on this site are available from THIS PAGE.

The only problem is that they are only downloadable in "ov2" or "csv" file format, and according to the speed camera instructions, your model needs a simple text file (.txt) format.

There are several ways to convert .csv to .txt, but the easiest way I think would be to download a copy of POIEdit, which can load and re-save POI files in lots of different formats.

By the way, did you know there is a section of the forum specifically for POI issues, this section is really just for the speed camera database.
