I need help please to get me out of an expensive hole !

I was planning to buy from Evesham a Mitac Mio 168 with Copilot4. For various reasons, mostly the ability to have Trafcam incorporated, I decided against Copilot4 and have just bought a Mitac Mio 168 without any navigation software (from Ebay) and TomTom Navigator 3.

I have now discovered that TT3 has not been tested on the Mio and I don't know what settings to use to get "access" to the built-in GPS. It is my own fault, and I should not just have believed the PDA sellers line that the Mio was compatible with TomTom, but being new to PDAs and the software, I naively assumed that the software would work with anything running Pocket PC 2003.

I've emailed both Mitac & TT and have not received much help. TT just say it is not yet on the supported list so they can't help. Mitac just said (rather inscrutably Wink ) "set the GPS to com2". Com2 is not listed as a connection option in the TT3 menu just:
USB cable
Serial Cable on SP2
Serial Cable on COM1
COM3
Native IR
Bluetooth GPS

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Have I just got to wait until TT add settings for the Mio? Would I now be better off unloading TT3, selling it on, and get Copilot4 which I know works with the Mio because it comes bundled with it from Evesham?

In short HELP !!!!! Crying or Very sad

OK sorted :P

Found an earlier question about the Mio & TT2.

Same Solution- use NMEA0183v2 4800 on serial to SP2 - works fine.
