My SD card stopped working and on buying a new one and putting it in my UK Streetpilot i3 I have lost the maps, search postcode option and it keeps reverting to a European map. (Atlantik1)

It also navigates off line with the roads I am on by about 200m each time.

I can now only search by cities but used to be able to add postcodes as a search option.

Can anyone help ??? I have a 2GB card and have updated etc.

I assume you bought maps on/with the SD card - from Garmin? Can you see what maps are installed on the i3 from the 'system' menu - is your map perhaps shown but not checked? Did you get an unlock code and/or Mapsource with the new map? When you installed the map, did you get the choice of unit or SD card as the destination? How old is your i3?

You probably realise, but at the moment it looks like you have just the outline "basemap" Garmin provide underneath the specific detailed regional maps any particular use might have, to provide a (very) basic routing-only function to get you FROM one separate map region TO another (eg where a user might have detailed maps for say UK and Spain and wants to get from one to the other). That's why you haven't got detailed searching functions as they are only available in the detailed maps.

If you don't get any joy on this, post again with more information (eg answers to questions above) and you may get a more helpful reply than I have been able to give.
