I have a Zumo 550 and am very pleased with the accuracy of the camera database. However, I would like the unit to recognise and announce cameras but not continuously gong if I am over speed. Can this be done?

Thanks,

Mark

It is possible if you use Ash10s Camera Manager. Amongst it's features is the facility to split the database into Approach and Over-speed databases and then only load the one you want (in your case the Approach Database) to your unit with POILoader. Although most functions can be used for free, you will have to make a small contribution to unlock this feature. You can read more about Camera Manager and what it can do here

It takes me about 15 seconds to do this!
I use 'Find' in the .csv file and change
MOBILE:54062@30
to
MOBILE:54062#30

This gives proximity warnings but no overspeed.

I do the whole datebase in one go [15 seconds]!
