I downloaded and installed Western Europe v810 yesterday with no trouble in a couple of hours, which was good after my earlier map purchases. I copied my MapSettings.cfg file which gave me all my favourites etc back. But my Speed Camera warnings were all gone.

I had the .ogg files in my sounds folder and had spent a long time setting them up as I had the Europe and UK files.

I have now put the .ogg files back into the map folder and set up the uk ones again. It's actually much easier that way as you don't have to select the right file for the correct POI.

But I just wondered if there was another file that I could have copied to put the warnings back without having to set them up again.

Also Mapshare said my map was 52 weeks out of date and there were thousands of corrections waiting to be downloaded, but it couldn't download them. Lots of others are getting that message so I suppose it's a TT server issue.

I was surprised though to find the corrections I had made on my old map have appeared on the new one without having downloaded them with Mapshare.

I think you need all your .ov2 & .bmp files moving into your new map.

Have a look at your old map, and copy them all across.

The speed camera POIs look something like PocketGPSworld_SC.ov2 / .bmp

Your other POIs might look something like takeaways.ov2 / .bmp

Hope this helps!

Sorry, it's the spoken warnings that had gone. I had copied all the .ov2 & bitmaps. I ended up by moving the .ogg files from the sounds folder back into the map folder then set them up again.
