Both very similar as far as i can tell. Seems 250W has wider screen.
Has anyone tried both or can recommend the one 2 choose. They're the same price at Tesco!!

Here is the table comparing the 2 models on Garmins website.
Have a look and see what you think. Despite the models numbers, the 200 is a newer series than the 300... |

I think the 250W is better looking, but it doent have 'FM Traffic Compatability'.
Am I losing out here? |

When it works the RDS traffic system works very well. But you have to be prepared to work at it somewhat. Due to the lower power of the transmissions used reception can be difficult. The supplied string aerial is usually not good enough except near to transmitters. Those of us who connected it to an external aerial have much better results. _________________ Phil |
