Hi Guys,
Well I have a bit of a problem. I am off to the San Marino GP in a few weeks and need the maps for the Imola/Bologna Area of Italy.
Now my problem is it appears the only way I can get these maps is to purchase the entire maps of Europe at over 100 pounds. Fair enough you say, however with tom tom 3 upgrade coming soon and these europe maps incompatible with it purchasing it would be lunacy. I thought I seen a while back that you could download certain areas from tom tom now for such trips but I cannot see it on their site anywhere now. Ive also installed an app call TomTom maps-on-line but it will not connect to the server and looking through there web site there is not a single mention of this app so I can only presume its unsupported now?
If anyone can suggest a solution or is willing to send me the 16MB file of that region it would be most appreciated!

Just been to their (Tomtom's) website and neither Imola nor Bologna appear to be covered. BTW, it appears to cost $14.99 as a download. The link is below

Do you own Autoroute 2002, 03 or 04? If so, you can install PocketStreets onto a PocketPC and download map portions as well. I don't think you get routing but it does have GPS support. Best I can come up with, I'm afraid. _________________ Tim |

Actually spending on the Europe Maps is not lunacy, as TomTom offer an update to ALL TT2 apps and mapping for €49 on the basis that you would have to paye the €49 anyway it is not a problem.
You may find however that if you buy the Europe maps now you may be entitled to a free upgrade. Though I am not sure about that. _________________ Mike Barrett |

You cannot buy them at €49 euros, but if you have the current Maps of Europe you will be able to update them to the TT3 ones for €49. _________________ Mike Barrett |
