Hello everybody,

I urgently need help in deciding which GPS device to buy.

The two devices I was looking are Navman F10 and MyGuide 3100.

I need only the basic GPS functions.

Do you have any suggestions which one would be a better choice in regards to their hardware specifications? I believe that Navman has the faster cpu (400MHz) and less RAM (32MB) and that MyGuide has slower CPU (300MHz) but more RAM (64MB). What is more important for performance of the device? The price difference is only 10 EUR.

Please help me! I only have 1-2 days to decide!

Please somebody help me decide!

I also found out that Navman F10 is a WinCE 4.2 based unit and that MyGuide 3100 is WinCE 5.0 unit.

How much this affects the stability and performance?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry I do not know much about the devices you are choosing between I think the general consensus on this site is that Tomtom an Garmin are the most recommended sat navs but I am sure someone will have an different opinion .

If you could tell us how much you want to spend and what features you need someone will give you there opinion .
I think the main thing is that you look at the devices and see how the mapping and software looks and which you prefer because it is a personal decision at the end of the day

Thanks for advice john,

I live in Serbia so I need Eastern and Central Europe map coverage. I have used both TomTom and Garmin software but in this part of world they are five steps below iGo software.

I am only interested in hardware differences between the two mentioned devices because I will certainly use iGo8 on either one.

So, can anyone tell me which one is better:

Navman F10 (79,00 EUR)
400MHz Samsung CPU, 32Mb RAM, WinCE 4.2, 256/512 Flash

MyGuide 3100 (89,00 EUR)
300MHz Centrality CPU, 64Mb RAM, WinCE 5.0, 512 Flash

Please advise, I have to make the purchase today!
