Price to pay for V8 maps on a 520

As you can see I am one of many that took the gamble to upgrade my 520 with version 8 maps.

All works well including ALG, IQ routes etc.

But unless anyone out there knows better (like tomtom server problems) I seem to have lost map corrections, I have not been able to download any corrections for the past 3 weeks, is this tomtom's way of slapping my wrist?. Laughing Out Loud

I don't think so Dave, i am doing the same, i too have noticed that the server has been messing about the past few days. Today it bombed out like it did on Sunday, however yesterday i got corrections with no probs.
Anyway, if they did do that they would probably be doing us all a favour. Laughing

I have to agree there Les, at least I know my corrections are good.

Funny thing is TTH tells me I havn't downloaded corrections for 3 weeks and I have 2000+ waiting, and still no joy I just get GPSfix..woohoo... Laughing Out Loud

My 720 with v805 maps was offering me updates a few days ago, but there are no updates showing at the moment.

The irony is that I don't want the darn updates because I have my 720 configured to use only my own corrections

Backup, then use 'remove corrections' (both yours and others) from the Home Tools menu, then try again.

I'm being offered updates again, so it looks like a temporary glitch with their servers or something

Still no updates here though, not too bothered, just slightly worried as it may lead to other problems in the future with reference to having the wrong map for my 520.

Connected for 1st time this week to TTH and guess what, Mapshare updates available again after 4 weeks. WooHoo again... Laughing Out Loud
