Hi
I have a standalone "GPS Navigation System" running iGo version 6. This unit has no other markings other than on the back is says Windows CE. I can connect to this device using MS ActiveSync or just as an additional hard drive when connected with USB lead.
I want to update to the latest version of iGo but am unsure which version I should be looking for, pocket PC, mobile phone, PDA, Windows, none of these seem to cover Windows CE.
I have copied the current iGo file system below in the hope that someone can point me in the right direct. Basically the files sit on my devices SD card, no set up, it just starts when I click the GPS Navigation system on the main unit,

You can update your iGO 2006+ to iGO8 for £60, about half price. Have a look at the Nav N Go site. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Yes I'm aware I can update but I am confused as to what version I should buy to update due to the device I have which isn't a PC nor is it a PDA.
It's a touch screen "GPS Navigation System" Only two buttons on the whole unit, has a front menu with Gps Navigation, EBook, Music, Photo, Video & Settings.
My brother has TomTom on his PDA & looking at the file structure of that it had a setup.exe which automatically sets itself up, I tried putting the card into my device but nothing happened.
Thus my concern about buying the upgrade without really knowing what system I am running it on. As said all I know is the device has Windows CE on the back of it & pressing system info on the unit just tells me it's Rom Version, Processor, Ram size, Software Version & ID???

Look down the list you gave and you'll see 'IGOPNA.exe 2679 KB', so it appears you're running the PNA version.
I just looked at the Nav N Go site where it states, if you register your copy with them you will be able to download the latest version. It also says, some versions of Igo2006 cannot be upgraded.
I guess the best thing to do is register and see what they say. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
