Which GPS setting?

Hi
On the GPS screen there is a drop down list of GPS receivers. I have a Rikaline X7 which isnt listed.
I've set it to TomTom GPS and it works but there seems to be some lag which means voice directions are often too late.
I'm not keen to disturb it too much but are there better settings to use?

it's always best to use the plain settings. COM8: rather than TomTom GPS, and NMEA 38400
