Confused- Compact Flash Vs SD

Hey all. As you may have read I'm going to get a Yakumo Delta to run TomTom 3 on. The 'Memory is SD Expandable' according to the specs. I think I have seen people used a CF memory card in place of an SD one. Do I have to get an SD card, or will a CF card work? Are there benefits to one over the other?

You don't have a choice - your machine only supports SD
