Hi all,

Not sure who I need to raise this with but there is a potential that my TomTom 300 has been stolen today at work. The problem being it was obviously loaded with the latest speed camera database. I am hoping that somebody has seen it on my desk and put it aside for safe keeping without telling me but in the unlikely event that the contents of the memory card are made public I don't want to be accused of sharing the database!

- Who is the best person at pocketgpsworld to contact?

Many thanks

Hi Dr,

Glad you found it!, I hope you didnt store in your full home address, otherwise it gives your boss even further ways to come and find you when your at home Laughing Out Loud !

In a serious note, ive always wondered what if, one of my units (PDA, TT700, TTONE ) was lost, stolen, or given away for charity by a family member as I have a few to dispose of!

I can only assume if it did fall into the wrong hands, you would have to prove it was lost/stolen etc by reporting your unit to the police, otherwise anyone could say they lost it etc....? Its the owners / subscribers resp.
I would guess as long as your copy didnt turn up on a popular auction site listing or other not so well known areas of the internet, then no major harm done.

Regards

MPW
