Tom Tom BT receiver and XDA 2
I have been told recently by a member of staff in a large retailer that the Tom tom bluetooth receiver has some inherit problems and only seems to last for a month or 2. I have notice with mine that it is reluctant to stay connected if being charged in the car. The flashing red/amber light turns red after about 30 secs. Is this usual? Otherwise I have no complaints and still get excited when it gets me places. Still I have only had it a couple of weeks but I dont think the novelty will wear off. Anyone out there had similar experiences of limited life or disconnection in car or share the same excitement (sadly) 8O .

Early units had a high failure rate but this appears to be a thing of the past now. It is still slighty fussy about charge and doesn't like being rtun too low before top up.
