What a rip off I submitted a speed camera position several times and now it is on Pocketgpworlds data, so where is my life time subscription? I know they will say "someone else sumitted it before me, OK, not true, I have submitted this one in West View road hartlepool at least 3 times the first time being well over a year ago, the last around 2 half month ago. WHAT A CON, I wonder why I expected fair play, sad. |

What a shame the admin team will feel it necessary to give a POLITE reply.
Ever thought there might be a perfectly good reason why you weren't the first, or even possibly a genuine mistake on someone's part?
Rather less likely to get investigated now, if I was in charge.
A camera ID number would be a good start.... |

A better description would be a start too - there is NO CAMERA ON WEST VIEW ROAD, HARTLEPOOL in the Pocketgpsworld database.
Or am I looking at the wrong Hartlepool? There's another somewhere other than on Teesside? _________________ Dennis

Right, well i can't see any cameras on that road either.
The Free LifeTime Subscription is not a con and you can see a number of members with a LifeTime Member tag. This has, sadly, been covered a number of times.
I suggest Del346 reads this thread and then make any future post in a less aggressive and accusatory manner. Failure to do so will result in this thread being locked until such a time as the PGPSW Team can comment on Del346's submissions. |

To be honest with an attitude like that I myself if I was the Pocketgps team would not even bother to reply to you .
If its a con how come so many members including myself are lifetime members !!
You would have been better asking why it did not qualify for lifetime membership in perhaps a polite way !! somebody may have looked into it for you !! instead of you start throwing your toys out of the pram

Well it took me over a year to get free members and a dam lot of submissions before i got it.
It is luck if you get there first and there is a dam lot of people trying but attitude like yours gets you nowhere i would suggest you put your dummey back in and try being a bit more polite. |

Well, I once submitted a camera with wet cement around its base - I know this because my dog left paw prints - but I was beaten to the submission for that camera.
On about my third submission, I got lucky and qualified for lifetime subscription.

Well, I got my free lifetime membership starting in Feb 2006, because I was submitting cameras before anybody else was born. I don't think I'd ever have had the bottle to claim it for some mythical camera though. Maybe this is one of those that get submitted with coordinates on a North Sea oil rig?
I often go round new cameras, putting some wet cement at the base of them. You'd never believe the number of people who submit the new camera. _________________ Dennis

Ah - the right paw was raised so he could pee on the camera
...and who was I to stop him showing his feelings? _________________ Andy

You have to wonder whether Andy_G just ever so slightly regrets telling us about the wet cement camera. _________________ Dennis

Nothing to do with fresh cement.
